Liverpool In Black & White: A Striking January Morning

January 2021 was a time of lockdowns and restrictions in England, shaping the mood of everyday life. With this as our backdrop, we ventured into Liverpool on a drizzly Sunday morning for a much-needed change of scenery. The city streets were eerily quiet, with only a handful of people braving the weather. Whether it was the rain or the lingering caution of the times, Liverpool felt almost frozen in time—beautiful, moody, and waiting for life to return.

While scrolling through old image files, I came across a few from the Covid period. It’s striking to see how empty the streets were back then—so much quieter than even the slowest days now. It’s a reminder of how far we’ve come and how much life has returned to our cities!
