A quick visit to Carnforth Station with a stop at the Brief Encounter Bistro. The location was made famous by its role in the movie Brief Encounter starring Trevor Howard and Celia Johnson.

It was a beautiful afternoon for a short walk along the river in Dovedale National Nature Reserve. Stopped for a few minutes at Ilam Rock to take a few pictures and to enjoy the moment.

Berwyn Station is part of The Llangollen Railway, a Heritage railway in North Wales which runs between Llangollen and Corwen.
After a number of years of financial troubles it was forced to close in 2021, hopefully not a permanent situation.

For 14 nights an outdoor illuminated gallery of stunning light installations were on display in the city of Liverpool. The 11 artworks were created by leading local, national and international artists. The River of Light art pieces were in locations across Liverpool’s waterfront. They were lit up from 6PM – 10.30PM every night.
