I love to ride the bus to work especially on a beautiful autumn morning. It’s nice to be able to watch the world go by, checkout the interactions of the other passengers and have a little quiet time before the crazy day starts.
Walking to work one morning I passed the queue of people waiting to board the bus headed to New York. Part of me wanted to join the line and head to New York for a fun one day adventure.
We were just walking around on our first day in New York and were watching the sky as the rain clouds started to form. As it started to look more like the rain, we headed back towards our hotel. Unfortunately we didn’t make it back in time and our small umbrella was no match for the torrents that fell from the sky.
This image was taken as the first few drops fell and it looked like it was going to be a summer shower. Five minutes later the cameras were tucked away to protect them as well as possible and we were hurrying to find shelter.
One of the first tasks when going to a new city is to ride the local transit system. First stop in Cleveland was the Rapid System and a ride out to the airport on the Red Line.
